Woodstock singer-songwriter and former front woman of Suffrajett, artist Simi Stone cannot be contained in a single word or sentence.
Simi's alluring presence both in the studio and onstage will fill you with contagious joy and wonder.
She had her early experience at the New York Conservatory for the Arts, where she studied acting, dance and voice. Simi also studied classical violin starting at the age of eight and began writing music at the age of nine.
Simi has just completed a new solo album titled, the rescue, due out in Late spring 2017, as well as soundtrack record, cycles, both with collaborator David Baron (Bat for lashes, Peter Murphy, The Lumineers and Lenny Kravitz).
Simi Stone is a member of The New Pornographers. She has worked closely with Natalie Merchant both in the studio and live. She has toured and performed with Conor Oberst , David Byrne, The Lumineers , Neko Case, and filmmaker Gregory Colbert.
